Bread and Wine and Light symbols

In room six we have been learning about Mass.There are three symbols: Bread,Wine and Light. These are the prays we say in Mass: Lord have mercy, E Te Ariki, God hear us Holy holy holy, Lord, God of power and might, heaven  and earth are filled with your glory, Hosanna in the highest, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna to God in the highest, Lamb of God you take away the sins of the earth have mercy on us, Lamb God you take away the sins of the earth have mercy on us, Lamb of god you take away sins of the world grant us peace.

The Lorax

 In reading we have been learning about the Lorax.

The Lorax tells us to care about the environment and not cut down the trees.

 We wrote a letter to tell the Once-Ler to stop cutting down the trees. We also did an inside out about the Lorax, where we described what he looked like and his personality. We also made a tree from the Lorax, they are called Truffula trees and they look fluffy.

I think we should care for the environment because if we cut down trees we will have no oxygen and we will not be able to breathe properly.

The four Gospels

 We have been learning the four Gospels. They are Luke, John, Mark and Matthew.

i enjoyed learning about Noah's Ark.

My favourite thing in mass is the greeting and the opening him.

One sunny day I was at QEii in my blue togs. I jumped into the pool it was cold like ice. Me and my brother  were playing catch with my ball and when ever the ball dropped it makes a big splash. Then when we got out of our togs we went to the shop and had vanilla ice cream. Then we had a hot shower once we got home.
